THE GREAT DIVIDE

Mathew 10:34-36
"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35"For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36 and a man's enemies will be the members of his household."

Luke 12:51,52
"Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; 52 for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two, and two against three..."

No expansion is needed, it is absolutely cut right to the bone clear as far as I am concerned yet... Yes... Yet it seems that there are different interpretations of these scriptures. Before I get to that I just want to need to say this, why is it that when it comes to scripture regarding the sin of homosexuality, prostitution, drug dealing, using drugs, 'blatant sin' as I call it, there is only one interpretation amongst Christians and the like. It's a wonderful thing to be able to fellowship and share scripture but when an argument ensues over the truth those engaged in that argument are far from the truth. I recently had a discussion that became near argument with someone about the meaning of the scriptures above. They believe that when Jesus said, "For I came to set a man against his father" etc. that he was not speaking literally. But rather in a metaphoric form with a dash of allegory and that it was, is a direct message to Christians, example;

Its simple enough and I get it but I don't believe that is what is meant by what Jesus said. I believe its much more intentional and aggressive than that and has nothing to do with Christianity rather the way we walk on the pathway to everlasting life. Which has nothing to do with the title we adopt that directs people to a general understanding and identification of ones religious or spiritual believes and or outlook. It clearly points to all those who truly believe, it is a confirmation for us that we can not ride fences or serve two masters. These are those who will find themselves spewed out like vomit on the edge of the pit that is darkness as the divide begins. It makes clear that those of us who truly love, believe in and worship God are set against all others no matter what religion or title one chooses to use. It so pointedly goes on to say, "and a mans enemies will be members of his household." My household is my direct family, I have eight siblings so I can expect that one or more of my siblings will become my enemies. Not because they all refer to themselves as Christians and I refer to myself as thee Swashbuckling Heathen Faith Based Queer but because when we are put to the test to live by example rather than that that defiles us which is what comes out of our mouths not what goes in, we will either rise through Gods grace and strength and declare our faith, worship, believe and love of God through Christ or fall to temptation and denounce that which we say that we stand for. Faith, believe and worship, the trinity of faith, all three are vital to serving God. A person who believes that there is a God might not worship God or place even a fragment of faith in God. This is that from which the divide stems it is what I read, what I understand and what I believe.

Why be so perplexed over the fact that those whom are your relations will betray you even unto death, for was it not Judas Iscariot one of Jesus' own who betrayed him and did so with a kiss. Truly, some of my own siblings have already behaved towards me in a manner befitting the meaning of the term enemy, several times over and over again. The strange thing is that they have done so toting bible in hand or quoting verse, I suppose it is fitting, the worse betrayal of all is always from within. I am sure in saying this that they themselves upon reading are quickly embracing moments that they can use as examples when they believe that I have behaved as an enemy towards them as well, so be it. If it is so and they are indeed thinking it, I leave it to God, He knows the truth. I have no time to concern myself with frivolity.

I believe with all that I am that we are not in the 'last days' as many are claiming, not yet. If it is the last days as you who say it is then why have you not fled to the mountains as instructed? Instead of buying arsenals of guns and ammunition when you have no money for food? I have yet to read this instruction to arm oneself in any bible.

We are at the onset of the birth pains that will bare the hate child that will scourge the face of humanity worldwide until every woman, child and man is effected or infected by that which is foretold in these scriptures. Its not a matter of religion or Christianity which I hold as the same. It will come down to those who believe, worship and love God over everything and anyone to include 'Christianity'. We will all be called to prove our love, believe and worship of God not religion, religious believes, views or Christianity on a scale that this world has not ever known and will never know again. Be it ever so clear, even an arsenal of weapons and ammunition will not protect you. Just the willingness to allow your earthly vessel or your child's, your mothers, etc. to fall as the swords drop splitting the very air we breath. Will you stand your faithful ground so that when called you may ascend and return to God our heavenly Father? Or will you be one of the many who will run to and fro to change alliance, begging for your child's life. In the end those who's flesh lay on the ground for the birds to scavenge and eat, the souls of these will be the souls that shall be called by God and when called shall rise. It shall be so for those who place the lesser value on their earthly vessel that is like a vapor and the greater value and reverence to the soul.
